Upcycling our waste into dog treats

At Villages we produce around 1 tonne of spent grain per week. This is highly nutritious, and many breweries give/sell their spent grain to farms for animal feed. Given that we are an urban brewery, that can be quite difficult, although we do give some to the Woodlands Farm Trust.

Tom, who was involved in Villages, set up BrewBix to upcycle this spent grain into healthy dog treats, that also happen to be vegan friendly. So you can enjoy a Villages beer, your dog can enjoy a BrewBix, and both treats have been made from the same ingredients!
